What is Civil Engineering?
Civil engineering has existed in some form as long as people have been building structures. Civil engineering is the reason that the pyramids in Egypt stand today. The profession as we know it developed in the early 19th century.
Civil engineers design roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, water supply and sewage systems, etc. In this role, we must consider many factors in designs, from the costs associated with construction or repairs to potential problems that could compromise a structure, such as severe weather.
Keller Engineering, Inc. provides a wide range of civil engineering services primarily related to site designs. We make sure there are adequate drainage, parking, utilities, and other important factors necessary to a successful project.
